Think Like An Appraiser!

Problems with low appraisals are still plaguing the housing market. If you have received an appraisal that you do not approve of, it is okay and in fact, necessary, to challenge it. To do so, start by thinking like an appraiser who, keep in mind, works for the lender, not you. Have comparable sales data ready to help combat your argument.
